The team really lucked out having both NY teams home while we were in town. Even better that our own San Diego Padres were there to take on the Mets.
Will Venable came over before the game and gave the boys and girls some love and his good deed came back to him as he went a career high 4 for 5 and was a home run away from hitting the cycle. Our San Diego vibes rubbed off on him as Will had a great game.
The Padres ended up winning 9-5 and are down 2-1 in this 4 game series. They have a chance to make it even tomorrow.
Our Storm Players have 1 last day in New York City before we depart for Cooperstown on Friday.
