Everyone contributed to a fabulous early morning win for the Power Storm over the Massapequa Marlins (out of NY) 10-6.
Key highlights of the game were a three run shot by Zane T. to put us on the board 3-1, Nik S. with a solo shot making it 4-1 and Jared A. with a two run shot that tied it back up after a surge from the other team to even it up 6-6.
The rest of the team then gave a solid effort in the bottom of the 5th to make it 10-6. Lots of hits and hard base running got those final 4 runs.
This left 3 outs to go to get our first win. Trevor N. pitched a solid inning to get us the victory.
We are off to the Hall of Fame now and our next game is at 7:00 tonight versus the Northeast Hurricanes out of New Hampshire.
